These terms govern your use of the IBANdb API and website at iban.trekle.space (the "Service"), operated by [Company name], [legal form], registered at [registered address], [company register and number], VAT [VAT number] ("we", "us").

1. The Service

The Service validates IBANs and returns information about the bank behind them, compiled from third-party official publishers. We may change, add or remove features; we'll give [notice period] notice of changes that materially reduce the Service.

2. Accounts and API keys

You get an API key after paying for a plan. You are responsible for keeping it secret and for all use made with it. Tell us at [support email] if you believe a key has been compromised, and rotate it.

3. Plans, payment and cancellation

Plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. Prices are shown [including / excluding] VAT. Each plan includes a monthly lookup quota; once it is used, requests are refused until the next billing period or an upgrade. Unused lookups don't roll over. 4. Acceptable use

You must not: resell or redistribute the Service or its data in bulk, or use it to build a competing dataset; circumvent quotas or rate limits, including by sharing keys; send unlawful data or requests; or disrupt the Service. [Other restrictions].

5. Data from third-party publishers

Bank data comes from third-party official publishers, including central banks and supervisors, national payment associations, SWIFT (IBAN Registry), GLEIF and the European Payments Council. That data remains subject to its publishers' terms, which may restrict commercial redistribution. SEPA scheme data: Source: European Payments Council. GLEIF data is available under CC0. You may use lookup results in your own products and processes, but you must not republish the data as a dataset. The list of publishers is in the footer and at GET /v1/sources.

We reproduce the publishers' data as published and don't guarantee that it is complete, accurate or current. A valid IBAN and a known bank do not prove that an account exists or belongs to a given person.

6. Availability and support
